Der am Bugspriet hängende schwere Stockanker muß mit der an seinem Ende befestigten schweren Kabelkette notfalls den gesamten Schleppzug halten. Die vorne angebrachte leichtere Öhringkette dient zum Lichten der in den Flußgrund eingegrabenen Ankerflunke.
